Omar Rudberg
Omar Rudberg is the non-stop singer from Venezuela who moved to Sweden when he was six years old. As a 13-year-old he became a member of what was to become Scandinavia’s biggest boyband, ‘FO&O’. After 4 years together with FO&O which resulted in 3 MTV EMA’s, opening spots for artists like Justin Bieber and One Direction, and millions of streams, the band decided to focus on their solo projects in 2017. With his evident talent as a performer, songwriter, and artist ; Omar has been working hard in Sweden, LA, and Miami with well-known hit-makers who have written songs for artists like Jennifer Lopez, Ozuna and Maluma. In 2019 Omar released ‘Om om och om igen’ The song went straight up to #8 on Swedish Spotify top 50, peaked at #11 at the Swedish top charts, and has over 9 million streams as well as reaching platinum status. Writing and singing both in Spanish, English and Swedish, Omar is showcasing his dynamic vocals, energetic stage performances, and bringing Caribbean rhythmic vibes to all of his songs.In addition to his talent as an artist and songwriter, Omar did his debut as an actor with a leading role in the Netflix-series ‘Young Royals’ 2 0 2 1 wh i c h re c e i v e d gre a t a t t e n t i o n internationally. During his carrier, Omar has made a big name for himself worldwide, especially in Latin America, where he has close to a million of followers. In May 2022 Omar released his debut album ”OMR” which today has over 12 million streams. With over 75 million solo streams on all music platforms and a list of live performances all over Scandinavia this past summer Omar is now working on new music and preparing for season 2 of Young Royals (which premiers November 1st) you can definitely say that the future is bright for the young artist/actor.
